Pompano Beach Water Department supplies more than 16,000 gallons of water to an average single-family residence. The department offers a range of information to residents on ways to conserve water. Apart from the water department, the city of Pompano Beach, Fla., operates a number of other departments, such as animal control, public works and building maintenance.
