City of Hialeah Fire Department

Established in 1956, the Fire-Rescue Department of the city of Miramar offers disaster management and capital improvement planning services. Located in Miramar, Fla., the department employs more than 150 people who serve over 110,000 individuals annually. The Fire-Rescue Department offers fire suppression, emergency medical, protection training and dive rescue services. It offers preventive health care programs that include protocols using paralytic drug therapy to manage complex airways.
