Dr. Jones attended Spring Hill College and Loyola University, graduating in 1983. She attended medical school at both Tulane University and the University of Alabama, graduating magna cum laude in 1987. She completed her residency in dermatology in 1991 at North Carolina Memorial Hospital in Chapel Hill. She became board certified by the American Board of Dermatology in 1991 and recertified in 2009.
