Robert DerHagopian, M.D., FACS, is a breast health specialist at the Christine E. Lynn Women’s Health & Wellness Institute, part of Baptist Health, at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. Dr. DerHagopian draws upon his four decades of breast surgical oncology experience to assess a patient’s breast cancer risk and offer education and risk reduction strategies. Dr. DerHagopian has extensive teaching experience, serving 20 years as associate professor of surgery in the Department of Surgical Oncology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. As a longtime breast cancer researcher, Dr. DerHagopian has collaborated with nationally renowned oncologists and surgeons in cancer treatment research. He has published his findings in medicaljournals, presented at national conferences and seminars and received numerous honors for his professional contributions.
