Beth Jacob Social Hall and Congregation

Beth Jacob Social Hall and Congregation, also known as the Beth Jacob Synagogue, holds the distinction of being the first synagogue in Miami Beach, Florida. The historic building, located at 301 and 311 Washington Avenue, was designed by architects H. Fraser Rose and Henry Hohauser in the Art Deco style.

Added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places on October 16, 1980, the synagogue now houses the Jewish Museum of Florida, preserving its rich heritage and serving as a cultural landmark in the community.
