AMRoC Fab Lab

History

AMRoC Fab Lab is a program of the non-profit Foundation for Community Driven Innovation. FCDI founders worked in the informal education arena for nearly two decades, providing mentoring support to youth in FIRST robotics and to people of all ages in the maker community. With a diverse Board of Directors with a broad field of expertise and a strong community focused ethic, and great community partners likes SOFWERX, the Florida High Tech Corridor, University of South Florida program partners and others, AMRoC Fab Lab was developed as a safe and welcoming community space, that gives people an opportunity to learn 21st century skills and develop self-confidence, self-reliance and personal agency. Specialties

AMRoC Fab Lab specializes in public science and tech programming and resources for all ages, including professional development, K-20+ STEM educational programming, early-stage entrepreneurship support and makerspace and workshop availability for hobby and DIY interests and projects.
