Dr. Kim is a physician in the Genetics Program at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital and an assistant professor of genetic medicine in the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He joined the medical staff in 2021 as the first board-certified medical biochemical geneticist at the hospital. He has a clinical and research interest in inborn errors of metabolism. Dr. Kim was honored as Best Consulting Physician at Johns Hopkins All Children's in the 2024 Johns Hopkins Medicine Clinical Awards. Dr. Kim earned his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville. He completed his pediatrics residency at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital as a part of the inaugural class of 2017. He then completed his medical genetics residency and fellowship, chief residency, and medical biochemical genetics fellowship at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.
