The Finance Department offers accounting, budget preparation, risk and payroll management, accounts payable and receivable and benefit administration services. It makes financial reports, schedules and amendments and reviews bond documents, monthly financial reports, grant records, and revenue collection and expenditures. The Finance Department is a part of the City of Crystal River, which features fire, administration, utility service and planning and community development departments. Its public works department offers maintenance services for parks and streets, as well as provides water and wastewater treatment, garbage collection and solid waste and recycling services. The city reviews site plans, builds permits and issues certificates.
