HistoryIn Oct. 2014, Richard left SCLA when it was purchased by Equinox to run his own training program at Balance Gym where he trained his clients until he started The Trainer Forum, LLC at Washington Harbor.SpecialtiesRichard Parker, the owner and operator of The Trainer Forum, LLC, has been a certified fitness professional since 1997. He is a graduate of the California University of Pennsylvania [Cum Laude] with a BS in Sports Management and Wellness, a National Academy of Sports Medicine [NASM] Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Senior Fitness Specialist, and a U.S. Navy Certified Master Training Specialist. Richard was a Sports Club LA Advantage Master Trainer for Special Populations from 2003 to 2014. He was ranked in the top 5% nationally of the over 330 SCLA trainers for over ten consecutive years and was ranked in the top 1% in the last year of the SCLA in 2013.
