In 1999, Chef Kaz Okochi opened KAZ Sushi Bistro in downtown Washington, D.C. The Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington (RAMW) named KAZ Sushi Bistro one of the year's top five new restaurants, and it quickly became one of the capital area's hottest Japanese dining destinations. Came right at 11:30 am for lunch in order to grab a nice quiet table. They don't allow reservation for lunch. Their teriyaki salmon bento box comes with miso soup and spicy mussels; very nice....

We've been enjoying the delicious and creative sushi at Kaz Sushi Bistro for over 20 years! It's always reliable and has a perfect atmosphere for a business lunch or catching up with friends.
