Makondo Shimukowa, MD received her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine, Portsmouth Dominica West Indies. She then completed her internship, residency, and fellowship in infectious disease at Suny Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. Dr. Shimukowa’s clinical interest include HIV, hepatitis-C and B, PrEP, STIs (including acyclovir resistant HSV ulcers).
