About Builders Supply of Delmarva Builder's Supply of Delmarva is a family owned and operated business established in 1986 by Michael Rhodes. Michael Rhodes started out as a small builder/ contractor in the 1980s when the housing development market in Sussex County was just getting started. While working in the building industry, he realized the growing need of being able to obtain good quality building materials at a reasonable price and purchased his first warehouse in Georgetown, Delaware. From that small warehouse, Michael started what was to become one of the largest suppliers of building materials in Eastern Sussex County. He also built up an excellent reputation among local builders and contractors by being able to deliver quality materials at a low price with short notice on special orders. Michael's son, Ethan ( at left ), also started working with the company in an operational capacity in the late 1990s. Ethan grew as the company continued to grow and is now Vice President ; continuing in his father's footsteps of offering quality products and total customer satisfaction. In 2006, Builder's Supply moved their operations to a new location at Sussex County Airpark. Our Operations Manager, Don Brittingham, manages the daily operations of the company as well as our two large warehouses and delivery fleet. We are now able to stock many building materials and supplies to assist in your construction/building needs. We offer a wide range of materials including Andersen & Stanley windows and doors, a full line of Alcoa siding and other molding and trim products. In addition, we also offer custom doors and windows, built to your specifications. Our new office and showroom is ideally located next to our warehouse facilities for ease of access to all of our products. We also continue to offer free delivery within the Delmarva area. Builder's Supply has an outside sales force with many years of experience in the building/ construction industry. Our Sales Manager, Billy Hein, or any of our experienced sales team, will meet you at your jobsite or at our office to personally go over our product line catalog and to answer any questions you may have. Our sales team will also assist in takeoffs from blueprints to price out your material needs. We pride ourselves in great customer service to all customers, including builders, contractors, developers and homeowners.
