Cedar Lane Early Childhood Center

The Cedar Lane Early Childhood Center works for the emotional, physical, intellectual and social development of more than 250 students in pre-kindergarten and kindergarten. Its academic curriculum includes instruction in language arts, mathematics, science and physical education. The center maintains a library that stocks various types of books and other reading and reference materials in electronic and print forms. The Cedar Lane Early Childhood Center organizes field trips and meetings. The center has a parent-teacher association that encourages the participation of parents in several school activities. It is located in Middletown, Del., and is a part of the Appoquinimink School District, which enrolls over 8,100 students in various elementary, middle and high schools.
