The Celotex Asbestos Settlement Trust was established on February 1, 1998, following the bankruptcy of Celotex Corporation and its subsidiary Carey Canada Incorporated, which was involved in the manufacturing and distribution of roofing and building products, as well as the mining and processing of asbestos fiber. The Trust is dedicated to processing and paying valid asbestos personal injury claims in accordance with the Claims Resolution Procedures approved by the bankruptcy court.
