Vinay Mehta, MD

Dr. Mehta believes one area of tremendous strength for U.S. health care is the flexibility it provides physicians to individualize the treatment for each patient. This becomes especially powerful in the specialty of cardiac electrophysiology. He believes it is deeply satisfying to utilize various modalities in a skillful manner to develop a plan which aligns with the patient’s value system and goals. Dr. Mehta's area of interest is how arrhythmias, specifically atrial fibrillation and heart failure, intertwine to create the twin, vicious epidemics of cardiovascular disease and how to best treat each patient to ensure they have the best care possible.
