TBS Owner/Operator Jared Brodeur saw a need for a retail location in the Hartford County that supported tabletop gaming in the style of the popular miniature retailer Games Workshop. That is, clean professional retail environments with amenities above and beyond the industry's current common business model. Taking that template and adding his own innovations Jared gave launch to The Battle Standard Tabletop Game & Hobby. Since 2010 The Battle Standard has grown significantly and now occupies a 3000 square foot property in East Windsor CT featuring industry leading 24' long terrian tables, the single largest living D&D campaign in New England, Twitch live streaming capabilities, and the most friendly and welcoming gaming community in the region.
