The Breast Center at Tully Health Center provides comprehensive breast health services in a welcoming and supportive environment. As part of Stamford Health, the center is dedicated to offering advanced diagnostic care and personalized attention to promote early detection, prevention, and long-term wellness. Patients at the Breast Center benefit from a full range of breast health services, including routine screenings, diagnostic imaging, and specialized evaluations. With access to advanced technologies such as digital mammography, ultrasound, and MRI, patients receive accurate results interpreted by experienced breast imaging specialists. When needed, the center also provides further diagnostic testing and seamless coordination with breast surgeons and oncology experts within Stamford Health.

Dr. Richard Russell Culver was certified by the American Board of Radiology in 2015, Dr. Culver received his medical degree from St. George’s University in 2006. He completed his internship at Morristown Memorial Hospital in 2011 and his residency in diagnostic radiology at Norwalk Hospital, in affiliation with Yale University Medical Center, in 2015. He served as chief resident from 2013 through 2015 and then proceeded to his fellowship in neuroradiology at Yale University Medical Center, where he was co-chief fellow in 2016. Dr. Culver is the former chief of neuroradiology at Norwalk Hospital where he served on staff from 2016 through 2021. In addition, to neuroradiology Dr. Culver’s additional areas of interest and experience includemammography and women’s imaging including breast biopsies and procedures as an MQSA-certified breast imager as well as body imaging, MRI, and general diagnostic radiology.  He is now serving on staff at Stamford Health as of April 2021 as the vice chairman of radiology. Dr. Culver has been honored as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor since 2020.
