Pine Point School, established in 1948, is an independent, coeducational school located in Stonington, Conn. The school has an enrollment of more than 200 students in grades kindergarten through nine. Its curriculum includes English, business, math, science, social studies, computer technology and physical education. It also offers Spanish, French, music, art and dance classes. The school provides various extracurricular programs, such as musical theater, dance, instrumental and vocal ensembles, and visual arts. It offers various sports activities including soccer, hockey, cross-country, basketball and lacrosse. The school conducts summer workshops for students of ages 3 through 13, and offers an international studies program for ninth-grade students. The school is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools.
