Established in 1906, Kent School is a residential educational institution that specializes in general academic and special education programs. Solomon Schechter Day School

Solomon Schechter Day School of Greater Hartford offers dual-curriculum education for children in preschool and elementary and middle school. Its students receive integrated instruction in both Judaic and general studies. Its preschool program comprises developmentally based courses wherein Judaic studies are integrated into the curriculum using Hebrew vocabulary, music and Judaic-inspired themes. The elementary school divides class time evenly between Judaic and general studies.
