Haley School

Established in 1952, Haley School is an educational institution that offers a range of recreational and academic programs for more than 500 students. It enrolls students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. The school s facilities feature a library media center, classrooms, art and music rooms, and computer and science laboratories. It provides classes in math, English and computer technology. Haley School also offers instruction in science, social studies, art and physical education. Its library media center has a collection of research articles, book reviews, reference materials, and fiction and nonfiction books. Additionally, the school maintains a parent-teacher organization that offers volunteer opportunities for parents to work in classrooms and library. Haley School is located in West Haven, Conn., and is a part of West Haven Public Schools, which governs elementary, middle and high schools.
