HistoryHat City Martial Arts is part of a Federation known as the Cheezic Tang Soo Do Federation based out of Waterbury Connecticut. We began with dream to help as many people as possible and have grown to spread this dream to our students. As we have grown over the years our goals have remained true to our dream. Our school (Dojang), is a testimonial to the skill and un-wavering discipline handed down to us from Grandmaster Robert Cheezic to Master David deGuzman to myself, Mr. Matthew Miller.SpecialtiesHat City Martial Arts is dedicated to helping the youth and adults of our community to lead a safer and healthier life. We aspire to give each and every person in our community the ability and self-esteem needed to succeed in life. We are able to do this through the practice of Cheezic Tang Soo Do Karate, a Korean style of Martial Arts known for it's strong roots to the earth and it's grace and power from the animal kingdom. You and your children will learn to protect yourselves from unseen danger by being learning to be aware of your surroundings.
