Woodward Mental Health Center is a privately held nonprofit orgnaization based in Freeport, N.Y. It serves emotionally disabled children of ages five through 21. Children receive mental health program services with parent and guardian involvement, integrated with special education, behavior management and social skills training. Its wide variety of services includes psychiatric evaluation, psychological evaluation, individual and group psychotherapy and parent group counseling. It also offers special education for all elementary and secondary grades, rehabilitation counseling and prescription and monitoring of psychotropic medication. Founded in 1950, the organization is licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health and the New York State Education Department.

The Child Guidance Center of Greater Bridgeport, Conn., was founded in 1925 to provide for the emotional and psychological welfare of children and their families living in the area. The center offers a wide range of outpatient mental health and substance abuse counseling services for children under the age of 18, as well as a variety of in-home supportive services to their families. The center operates three outpatient clinics located in Bridgeport, Stratford and Fairfield, Conn., in addition to offering services from a number of community agencies throughout Bridgeport. Its services are available in both English and Spanish. The Child Guidance Center of Greater Bridgeport is a member agency of the Eastern Fairfield County United Way and receives funding from the Department of Children and Families, Department of Social Services, Department of Public Health, City of Bridgeport, Corporation for National and Community Services, Save the Children and other private foundations.

The Springfield Jewish Community Center Massachusetts is a recreational and learning facility that provides various services for Jewish identification, enriching Jewish life and fostering unity within the Jewish community. It also provides services to enhance personal, social and physical development and to promote the well-being of the Jewish and general community worldwide. It additionally hosts various Jewish education programs and rents its facilities for celebration of a wide range of special events and occasions. It also offers catering services and organizes various programs, such as the Jewish singles program and the early childhood development program. The center is located in Springfield, Mass.
