Aquila’s Nest Vineyards is a family-owned, climate neutral, experience-focused winery and event venue, offering a selection of the finest Connecticut wines. Aquila, Latin for “eagle”, is appropriately perched on a hilltop in Newtown, Connecticut, and is western Connecticut’s newest gathering place dedicated to inspiring connections and communities. Aquila's Nest was inspired by mythological tales and our love for astronomy. All our wines are branded with the image of a constellation, the name of a woman drawn from an ancient Mediterranean myth, the inscription of a wisdom Latin phrase translated in English in the back of the label, as well as a unique wine cup design of the story that brings all these elements together. Our planted vines span across 10 acres of sun kissed vineyards where in 2019 we enjoyed our first harvest, now offering 9 wines seasonally.

This place was ok. I didn't like any of the wines. It was very busy and disorganized. I was a little disappointed. Pretty area. Maybe it's better when it's not so busy.
