Town of Castle Rock

The County Clerk and Recorder Department operates under the government of Douglas County, Colo. Located in Castle Rock, Colo., the department performs a range of government services for the county residents. It maintains various election, motor vehicle and recording divisions. The County Clerk and Recorder Department s election division is responsible for conducting national, state and county elections. Its motor vehicle division is responsible for the titling and registration of motor vehicles, as well collecting taxes and fees in the county area. The County Clerk and Recorder Department also records and preserves permanent public documents and real estate records through its recording division.
