Founded in 1986, PEAK offers a wide range of free and affordable services to families of children with disabilities and self-advocates across Colorado and beyond, reaching over 26,000 individuals annually. Their services include training, information, and technical assistance to empower families to advocate successfully for their children, as well as direct help through support, referrals, and information on various topics related to special education and inclusion. Through their Parent Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) and Project POWER, PEAK also provides technical assistance to 26 parent centers in 11 states, further expanding their impact.
