Scott H. McClure MD. is a Board Certified Psychiatrist who specializes in the evaluation and treatment of adults and adolescents. His office is conveniently located in the Wells Fargo Tower in the heart of the downtown area. Ample public parking is available. He believes that proper treatment can only flow from an accurate diagnosis. Therefore, the initial visit consists of an intensive diagnostic interview, which may include family members and/or the evaluation of previous records, if indicated. He places an emphasis on understanding the person as a unique individual in the context of a complex life history. If medications are prescribed, the response is better when the patient also experiences a deeper level of understanding. This level of evaluation/treatment is tailored to the needs of patients who are unhappy with "generic" approaches that are favored by managed care organizations and their "discount doctors". Our patients pay for services at the time of service, or on a monthly payment plan. A validated credit card (Visa or Mastercharge) is required.
