HistoryDr. Stanford is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, Diplomate of Acupuncture, a Diplomate of Chinese Herbal Medicine, a licensed acupuncturist and a certified massage therapist. She is a 1994 graduate of the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine's rigorous program. She is a 1979 graduate of Boulder College of Massage Therapy. In 1985, as a massage therapist, she studied Tuina Remedial Massage at The Shanghai College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Yu-Yang Hospital, in Shanghai, People's Republic of China. In 1997 Dr. Stanford studied Traditional Chinese Medical Gynecology at the Hunan College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Hunan Province, People's Republic of China. In August, 2008 Rita Stanford graduated from the Oregon College of Oriental medicine with a doctorate in acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She is nationally certified by the National Certification Commission For Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).SpecialtiesWe specialize in Oriental medicine and herbology with a Doctorate in Acupuncture. We offer allergy elimination services through NAET and Bioset systems, in addition to traditional acupuncture. We also offer traditional Chinese medical gynecology services.
