Montessori School of Denver, also known as MSD, is a nationally recognized, independent academic institution. Founded more than 40 years ago, MSD is among the first Montessori schools in Colorado to be accredited by the American Montessori Society. The school is also accredited by the Association of Colorado Independent Schools. It offers educational and enrichment programs for students in prekindergarten though grade six. The school provides personalized instruction and assessment to students in lower elementary grades and conducts classes in science, language arts, social studies, math, creative writing, computer skills, physical education, music, art and library science. The students in upper grades are offered additional classes in literature discussion, botany and Spanish language. Montessori School of Denver is located in Denver.
