My approach to medicine is team based and patient centered. We have a multidisciplinary approach to treating cancer and involve a very cohesive team to help patients and their families. I pride myself on making sure patients and their friends and families understand all the diagnostic and treatment options available to them, as well as the potential benefits and risks of treatment, in order for patients to make educated decisions about their care. I educate so that patients and their families comprehend fully the details of their diagnosis, the work up, the treatment decision making process, and results of their studies. I want to ensure that my patient's treatment is consistent with the most updated national guidelines and evidence based medicine.
