I believe in providing thorough examinations and diagnoses to find the patient’s problems and then educate them on treatment options. I wish them to understand what treatments exist that can help them and get it clear idea of risk and benefits of all those treatments. As a physiatrist, my philosophy tends to be conservative in nature taking advantage of physical medicine types of treatments, which most folks tend to think of as various therapies, such as physical therapy. However, to also include interventional and potential surgical options for which I may refer the patients if they desire.
