James Yakel, DPM

We diagnose and treat a variety of podiatric conditions at our multiple Colorado locations. Our podiatrists are proud to provide a clean, comfortable, cutting-edge facility! Dr. James Yakel, D.P.M. completed his undergraduate education at Kearney State College. He then attended the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, where he graduated in 1994. He completed his residency in podiatric surgery at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. He has been in private practice since 1996. Dr. Yakel is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is a Past President and Fellow of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine. Dr. Yakel has published in professional medical journals, lectured on podiatric sports medicine topics, and is a regular contributor to STACK magazine. While he enjoys all phases of podiatric medicine, his passion is sports medicine. He currently serves as the team podiatrist for the Colorado Rapids of Major League Soccer
