History
Hummingbird Herbals was created in Durango, Colorado by Clinical Herbalist Melanie Rose. Over the next decade, it grew from a small herb stand in the back of the Steaming Bean Coffee House into a full retail shop and healing center. In 2007, Melanie's apprentice took over the business, giving it a new home off the beaten path and focusing more on the medicinal herbs and less on the body care products, offering a top-quality herbal pharmacy to local Naturopathic Doctors and their patients, and continuing to offer products online and in area stores.
Specialties
Hummingbird Herbals specializes in high quality herbal tinctures made with organic and ethically wildharvested herbs and organic cane alcohol. Also offered are delicious herbal teas and healing herbal oils and salves. Hummingbird Herbals also specializes in personal, caring service from the owner-herbalist, Joslyn Erica.
