This hotel has an advantage given its location. You can easily stroll downtown which is just steps away. For this reason alone I would choose this hotel again. The hotel also has a new feel to it...

During our ski weekend we stayed in the very posh to the Durango Holiday Inn Express. The Express is one of the few hotels in the central downtown part (otherwise you need to cross a river)....

made a reservation several days ahead of time, gave me the parking lot patio room. towels were dirty with hair, light didn't work and for $300 night. Motel 6 probably is cleaner .
