Recumbent Brothers Cycles is a small, one-man operation in Peyton, Colorado. We are located 20 miles east of Colorado Springs. We take pride in our precision bicycle set-ups and our ability to match each customer with the right recumbent for their individual requirements. My name is John Cunningham and I've been involved with building and riding recumbents for over twenty years. I ride a lot, 14, 000 miles on average each year ; this is what I base my opinions and advice on. I'm of the opinion that if you don't ride, it's tough to help people make decisions about riding. You can read all that you want ; it just isn't the same as experiencing the ride out on the open road. There are many options when considering a recumbent bike. My advice is to find something that you like, something that feels good to you, and then ride it and become your own judge of what's right and what works for you. It's very easy to over analyze the choices from the many available. I like to tell people who are stuck in the decision mode that the worst recumbent I ever owned was still a pretty damn good bike.
