Dr. Kupersmit was born in Mexico City and was raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. He earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and neuroscience from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. He then went on to receive his doctorate in Osteopathy from Rocky Vista University in Parker, Colorado. Dr. Kupersmit chose to go into medicine because of his combined interest in science and helping people."The individual has an incredible capacity for self-healing. This manifests itself in many ways, and physicians provide a pathway to the innate healing processes through a variety of means. Learning how to take care of oneself and encouraging appropriate activities are two of many important aspects, and one of the more important roles of physicians is to provide appropriate education along with medical support."Dr. Kupersmit enjoyed studying the entire spectrum of medicine and is excited to be working within family medicine.When he is not at work, you can find Dr. Kupersmit exploring museums, zoos, parks and trails with his family.

A Colorado native, Patrick received his bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and later went on to receive a Master of Health Administration degree from Chapman University in California. After years spent working on the business side of healthcare, he switched his focus to caring for patients. Patrick attained a Physician Assistant Certification from the Red Rocks Community College Physician Assistant Program along with a Master of Medical Science degree from Saint Francis University. He chose to work in internal medicine because he enjoys building strong relationships with his patients as well as the challenge the field represents."My goal is to educate each patient, give them the information and tools they need, and guide them toward a healthy lifestyle."When not at work, Patrick and his family enjoy taking advantage of the Colorado outdoors.
