The St. Thomas More Emergency Department receives more than 18,000 visits each year. It is designated a Level IV trauma center and is accessible by Flight For Life Colorados air and ground transport services to transport patients to the most appropriate medical facility for care. It is staffed 24 hours a day by skilled physicians, nurses and other medical specialists who work in partnership with nearby hospitals in Pueblo, Colorado Springs and Denver when necessary.
