Alex Romero MD

Steven Olson, MD is a Board Certified Family Practice Physician who has joined our St. Thomas More Family Practice Group recently. Dr. Olson has significant experience with typical Family Medicine Clinic as well as Direct Care in office settings. Prior to medical school Dr. Olson had one year of experience working as an EMT and a twelve year experience working as a nursing assistant in several different medical contexts.Dr. Olson received his EMT-Basic from East Grand Forks Technical College. He continued his education through the University of North Dakota to earn a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Olson completed his medical degree at The University of Minnesota Medical School. Dr. Olson brings experience from Hennepin County Medical Center with experiences working in a level 1 trauma center, as well as experience working with Cardiology, Internal Medicine and other specialties as a senior resident.When not at work Dr. Olson enjoys spending time with wife and children doing of outdoor family geared activities. Dr. Olson enjoys hiking and camping, our local mountains, playing his bag pipes. He enjoys watching his favorite sports teams when time allows.
