University High School is operated by the Irvine Unified School District. It offers academic programs to students in grades nine through 12. Its curriculum includes business technology, English, mathematics, physical education, science and social studies. It offers advanced placement courses in calculus, biology, art history, chemistry, computer science, economics, music theory and political science. The school also offers language courses and has counseling and career service departments. Its library media center provides books, magazines and Internet access to students. Its arts department offers classes in dance, instrumental music and vocal. It provides sports activities, such as football, soccer, track, cross country, water polo, swimming and volleyball. It has various clubs, such as math, mind, internet, uniscience, Spanish and access. University High School offers literacy programs and is located in Irvine, Fla.
