History

With their combined experience of over 30 years, Dr. Michael Trauner and his physician assistant, Catherine Lenz, incorporate state-of-the art technology with compassionate care to provide the best overall experience for their patients. Michael Trauner, M.D., is one of just a few fellowship trained Mohs micrographic surgeons in the area. He earned his medical degree from Duke University. Dr. Trauner completed his residency in dermatology at the University of California at Davis Medical Center and a fellowship in dermatologic surgery at the New England Medical Center in Boston. Catherine Lenz, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant. She received her degree from the University of California at Davis Medical Center and is a diplomate of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Catherine has more than 18 years of dermatology experience; she has worked directly with Dr. Trauner for 13 years.
