The Cave Train

A seaside setting and historic charm help the Cocoanut Grove stand out as a West Coast conference, banquet and entertainment complex. Alongside the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary and next to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, the Cocoanut Grove provides a unique atmosphere for private parties, wedding receptions, dances, trade shows, business conferences, company picnics or parties, workshops and meetings. Throughout the year it hosts glamorous dances and extravagant events such as the annual Bridal Expo, both New Year s Eve and New Year s Eve s Eve celebrations, Home and Garden Expos, holiday brunches and salsa and swing dance nights. Meeting rooms and party areas include the Grand Ballroom, the Bay View Room and the glass-domed Sun Room. A commercial kitchen with two full-time chefs provides catering capabilities and gourmet food. In addition, there are two bars and three dance floor areas. Decor, lights, sound, and settings can be adapted, ranging from theatre-style rows to caf tables.
