Tacos Mexico, founded in 1975 by Antonio Moreno, started as a catering truck offering authentic Mexican tacos made from family recipes and the freshest ingredients. The success of the food truck led to the opening of the first brick-and-mortar restaurant in 1977 in Los Angeles, with the menu expanding to include tortas, sopes, quesadillas, and burritos.
