Established in 1967, Kings County Community Action Organization is a nonprofit agency in partnership with community, state and national organizations provides services for underprivileged families. The emergency service department of the agency provides domestic violence protection services and utility assistance throughout Kings County in California. Kings County Community Action Organization s Optimum Future program includes educational programs for pregnant and parenting teens. The SMART program of the agency provides abstinence education to youth. Additionally, it offers child development, crisis support, and energy and housing services. Kings County Community Action Organization also an Early Head Start program that includes educational programs for children. The agency is located in Hanford, Calif.
