State Compensation Insurance Fund operates with a network of more than 250 employer associations that offer various coverage policies. The organization has a team of insurance adjusters, loss control representatives, and industrial hygiene and ergonomics specialists. It specializes in customized loss control services, medical cost management and antifraud initiatives. In addition, State Compensation Insurance Fund has a 26-member special investigation unit and more than 75 investigative liaison officers. The organization maintains an office in Stockton, Calif.
