The Mission of SAMC is to provide the highest quality comprehensive health care services to the populations in the most underserved areas of Los Angeles County. SAMC focuses on assisting the underprivileged and disadvantaged, the isolated and the forgotten, the under-insured and the uninsured--all with dignity, compassion, and quality care in a supportive environment without discrimination based on age, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, culture, language, income, or place of residence. Our three facilities offer up-to-date equipment and treatments for medical, dental, psychological needs, preventive care, counseling and education. Our goals reach from treating our patients' immediate needs, to helping them achieve a better quality of life, and increasing the overall wellness in their communities.
