Spectrum Community Service Inc

Established in 1971, Spectrum Community Services is a registered, private nonprofit organization that assists low-income and disadvantaged individuals, families and seniors in their efforts to live independently. In partnership with local service organizations, the company provides a variety of community programs and services. Its long history of family tutorials and community outreach has advanced its mission of promoting clients financial sustainability and improving the overall quality of their lives. Senior services include meals and nutrition, fall risk reduction, senior employment and HOPE, the Housing Opportunities for People Everywhere program. Educational courses include word processing, data entry, computerized accounting, keyboarding and career education. It also provides weatherization help and the HEAP program, also known as the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program. Spectrum Community Services is located in Hayward, Calif.
