Solano Community College

Solano Community College, located in Fairfield, Calif., and is approved by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. It was established in 1945 and is a part of the California s public community college system. Its curriculum is offered through spring and fall semesters. The college provides various schedules designed for students that include day, evening and Saturday classes, Internet, television, and home and travel study. The college offers a wide range of subjects that include arts, accounting, aeronautics, automotive, banking and finance, banking operations, biotechnology production technician, communications studies, cosmetology, criminal justice, psychology, drafting, early childhood education, electronics, ethnic studies and fire technology. In addition, Solano Community College offers fine and theater arts, film and television foreign language, graphic design and illustration, photography, ornamental horticulture, sports medicine, fitness science and water and wastewater technology.
