WE VALIDATE PARKING AT THE HORTON PLAZA PARKING GARAGE ACROSS THE STREET ($12). Serving slow-smoked BBQ for lunch, and dinner, with a long tap list of local beer, cider, and craft cocktails featuring whiskey and mezcal. Smokin J's BBQ was founded in 2016 by a man with a smoker and a popup tent. After dragging that thing all over San Diego County for three years he opened his first restaurant in Poway. Now we are thrilled to bring our slow-smoked barbecue and house-made sides to the Gaslamp Quarter. Serving up brisket, pulled pork, burnt ends, and all the sides you want (beans, mac, collard greens, cornbread). Wash it down with a selection from our 18 tap system boasting only local drafts, or imbibe is one of our craft cocktails.
