Raft or kayak the wild and scenic Kern River! Sierra South has been in business 35+ years and offers whitewater rafting trips on the iconic Kern River. We run short, half, full, and two day trips daily on Class 2-5 whitewater, perfect for families to expert rafters. Our kayak school is the oldest & largest program in Southern California. We offer recreational kayak trips on Lake Isabella, rock climbing courses at local climbing areas, standup paddleboard (SUP) rentals & classes, and river tube rentals & shuttles at the end of the whitewater season. We also have a brick-and-mortar outfitters store stocked with gear, clothing, and gifts for paddling & mountain sports adventures.
