Shadiar Ohadi, DO, MPH

Dr. Shadiar Ohadi DO, MPH is a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine treating patients in Sherman Oaks, California and the surrounding areas. Dr. Ohadis knowledge and experience is brought to patients in need of physical exams, pediatrics, weight management, immunizations, acupuncture, diabetes, heart disease, as well as womens health concerns among other services.Dr. Ohadi earned her BS in Biology at UC-Riverside and completed a Masters of Public Health from Loma Linda University. She attended Western University of Health Sciences, graduating as a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and followed up with an internship at UC Irvine Medical Center, along with a tenure as the chief resident of family medicine at LA County USC directly after. Her approach to medicine is deep focusing on nurturing the overall health and wellbeing of each patient as an individual. She carefully analyzes each patients individual needs and customizes their care accordingly. She is committed to treating the whole patient and discovering the source of symptoms not masking them. She finds that often the body is capable of healing itself and over-prescribing medicines can interfere with that natural process.Dr. Ohadi has lived in the southern California area for the majority of her life. In addition to being a dedicated physician, she enjoys learning about diverse cultures and as such she is fluent in English, Spanish, and Farsi. Married and the loving mother of two, she enjoys traveling and is an enthusiastic soccer and basketball fan.
