San Carlos Cathedral

San Carlos Cathedral provides worship services to people. Based in Monterey, Calif., it is the one of the oldest continuously functioning churches and the first stone building in the State of California. The church is California's first cathedral and stands for the birth of Carmel Mission and Monterey, the first capital of California. The church practices sacraments, such as baptism, marriage, anointing of the sick, home visits and Holy Communion and funeral arrangements. San Carlos Cathedral also provides ministries, including adult Bible study, adult confirmation and ministry for returning Catholics, to name a few.
